Surprise your dice playing friends with this simple wooden BUNKO score pad Christmas ornament.
What you'll need:
- 1 Rectangle piece of wood (1 1/2"x2 1/4")
- 3 Blocks of wood (1/2" square)
- Drill and small drill bit
- Paintbrush
- White craft paint (I used glossy white)
- Red craft paint
- White thin "Painters" paint marker, optional
- Red thin "Painters" paint marker
- Hot glue gun
- Wood glue sticks
- Red ribbon
- Scissors
How to make it:
- Base coat the rectangular pieces of wood and let dry. You may need to use a couple of coats.
- Base coat the blocks of wood (dice) with red craft paint. Let dry. Note: You only need to paint the wood on 5 sides (or 4 depending on how you glue it together).
- Use the white paint marker to paint the dots on the dice. You can also use the white craft paint and dip the end of the paint brush to make the dots. Let dry.
- Drill a hole in one short end of the rectangular piece of wood. (see photo)
- Write "Merry Christmas" and the year on the back with the red paint marker.
- Write "from" and your name on the back with the red paint marker.
- Use the red paint marker to create the score pad as shown in the photo.
- Let everything dry completely.
- Add a ribbon to finish up the craft.
- Wrap up and surprise your BUNKO friends this Christmas!
