Christmas tree light pull

Remind yourself it's the season to be jolly every time you turn the light on with this Christmas tree light pull. It's a simple craft foam project that kids enjoy using to light their way.
What you'll need:
- Green craft foam sheet
- Beaded key chain with clasp
- Gold glitter paint
- Jewels (flat on one side) (any size)
- Zigzag scissors (or regular)
- Hot glue gun
- Wax paper
- Heavy book(s)
How to make it:
- Cut two tree shapes out of the green craft foam using zigzag scissors.
- Tear off a piece of wax paper. Place one tree shape on the wax paper.
- Lay the beaded key chain so that it is coming through the top of the tree with the clasp at the top. (See photo)
- Generously apply hot glue everywhere, making sure to cover the chain.
- Lay the other tree shape over the top, matching sides.
- Push together firmly.
- Tear off another piece of wax paper and lay on top of the trees.
- Lay the heavy book on top of the tree and let dry for a few hours or overnight.
- Decorate one side of the tree using glitter paint to adhere the jewels to the tree.
- Use the gold glitter paint to draw lines of "garland" on the tree.
- Let dry.
- Decorate the other side of the tree using glitter paint to adhere the jewels to the tree.
- Use the gold glitter paint to draw lines of "garland" on the tree.
- Let dry.
- Attach on to your light's beaded chain. You may need to take the clasp off in order to hang it.
- Do you have two beaded chains, one for the light and one for the fan? Make an ornament or present shape to attach to the other chain.
