What you'll need:

  • Raw eggs
  • Food colors or dyes
  • Paper confetti
  • Tape

How to make it:

  1. Make a hole in the bottom of a raw egg and remove the yolk and egg white. The hole can be as large as your middle finger is round.
  2. Dye the egg however you wish.
  3. Once dry, put paper confetti inside the egg. Fill the egg as full as possible.
  4. Once finished, place a small piece of scotch tape over the opening of the egg.

Tips:

One reader suggested that instead of having to poke a hole and blow the egg out, just crack it normally and then after it's clean and dry, fill with confetti and glue together using tissue paper to seal the crack.

Another tip from a reader: Don't throw them, it hurts!!! Break them over someone's head, it's less painful that way!! (First, you break it in your hand then smush it into someone's hair).
