Felt Photo Albums
Difficulty: Average
Parental supervision is recommended
Personalize your photo album covers with this fun Felt Photo Album craft. You and your kids can sift through memories as you decide which photos go into your festive albums.
What you'll need:
- Felt in assorted colors
- Scissors
- Craft or tacky glue
- Photo album
How to make it:
- You can buy felt at the craft store from a bolt of fabric. Felt is available in sheets or a bolt, and often the price on the bolt saves quite a bit of money. You may want to choose colors to match the season.
- For each album, cut and fold a piece of felt large enough to make a cover, then fold them in and glue the edges. Let the covers dry while preparing the rest of the project.
- You can cut out simple patterns like wreaths and snowmen. or build scenes like a Christmas fireplace with logs and stockings.
- Glue the felt patterns onto the photo albums and fill them with personal memories. Fill with unique photos, and they make extremely personal gifts for people like Grandma and Grandpa.
Tips:
The photo albums do not have to be pretty for this project, so go for the dollar bin rejects.
