What you'll need:

  • 25 or more suckers (no bigger than Tootsie Pops)
  • Box of white tissues
  • Black yarn or thin ribbon
  • Small black marker
  • Large basket
  • Hot glue gun
  • Small Halloween decoration

How to make it:

  1. Leaving the suckers in their wrappers, drape one sheet of white tissue over the head of each sucker and tie it off with yarn or ribbon, making a small bow (not a knot, those are too hard for little hands to untie). Let the rest of the tissue drape over the sucker for a ghost effect.
  2. Make two dots with black marker for the eyes.
  3. Hot glue the ghost-decorated sucker the top rim of the basket (this is an adult-only job). Drape the ribbon, accordian style, along the top rim of the basket, ending with a raffia bow.
  4. Hot glue the decoration in the middle of the raffia bow, and you now have a great "hand out basket" for the front door.
