This fun handprint Easter lily craft is also a great keepsake as it’s made from a child’s handprint.  Make several of these for a pretty Easter bouquet. Be sure to visit all of our main Easter index for more fun including great crafts and recipes.

What you'll need:

  • White construction paper
  • Pencil
  • Green and yellow chenille stems
  • Scissors
  • White craft glue
  • Sheer white ribbon

How to make it:

  1. Trace child’s hand onto white construction paper.
  2. Use pencil to curl the fingertips.
  3. Wrap the paper hand until the thumb touches the pinky, glue or tape together.
  4. Cut yellow chenille into three equal pieces for the stamen. Twist together at the bottom and add a dab of glue. Insert into the flower “cup” and let dry.
  5. Place some glue on the end of a green chenille stem and insert it into the bottom of the flower cup. Let dry completely.
  6. Tie a piece of sheer ribbon around the flower stem and form a bow.

Tips:

  • This project can be made with plain white copy paper.
  • Lilies come in many colors, including peach, yellow, red and pink. Make different colored lilies for a spring project.
  • Instead of yellow chenille, you can use construction paper or craft foam for the stamen.
