Mini Treat Pouches

Its vibrant and festive colors almost look like tie dye! Make your own mini treat pouches from watercolor paints and coffee filters. It's perfect for adding a handmade touch to your family’s Easter table.

What you'll need:
- Basket coffee filter
- Watercolor paints
- Small treats or candies
- Chenille stem
- Scissors
How to make it:
- Place coffee filter flat on work surface with newspaper or paper towel underneath.
- Paint the coffee filter with different colored watercolor paint. Let dry.
- Place a few small treats in the center of the colorful coffee filter.
- Gather the edges up and around the treats, forming a pouch.
- Close with a chenille stem.
- Trim the chenille with scissors.
Tips:
- This little pouch makes a great party favor of table setting favor. Place one at each plate. Remember, treats are for AFTER dinner!
- Children will love painting the coffee filters. For bolder colors use a paintbrush full of water to gather the paint. For lighter shades, dip the brush back into the water after picking up the paint.
- These pouches are small and will fit only a few treats. Try using miniature candies, jelly beans, coins, trinkets, or other small goodies.
