Preschoolers will have fun creating this easy and adorable paper nesting hen for their parents or grandparents as an Easter gift.

How to make it:

1. Print out patterns for hen and eggs.
2. Fold the paper plate just less than half.
3. Glue all over the front of the plate. Glue on either the cut up yellow paper or cut up raffia.

Hint: You may want to put the rafia into a small box and then dip the glued plate into it. It is less messy.

1. While your nest is drying, color the hen and if you would like, her eggs too. Cut them out.
2. Put the hen and her eggs in the nest. The eggs can be redeemed at any time.
