Let your imagination soar as you create paper cranes for this attractive Origami Flying Bird Mobile. Kids can learn the art of origami and create a wonderful gift with this craft.
What you'll need:
- 4" x 4" (10 cm square) origami paper in several colors
- Floral wire for assembling mobile
- Wire cutters
- Pliers
- Thin string or sewing thread
- Tape
How to make it:
- blue line = crease
- red line = fold
- gray line is to make contrast so fold can be seen.
- Crease along blue line, fold in half from corner to corner along red line.
- Fold just top layer along red line.
- Fold entire project in half along red line.

- Open top flap to make a point.
- Fold up first wing to form 90 degree angle between head and wing.
- Fold other wing to back in same way.

- Fold both wings down along red line to make bird to look as if it is flying. Fold front point in to form bird's head.
- Hang each bird from string attached at crease between wings.

Finishing Instructions
- Make a cross out of floral wire and hang a bird from each end and one in the center from the intersections of the wires.
- Or they can be hung from a cloths hanger, ruler etc.
