Play Snow
Difficulty: Easy
For winter or Christmas crafts, nothing beats this play snow for making great looking pictures of snowy days. Kids will enjoy working with this tactile substance that looks so convincing when it dries.
What you'll need:
- Ivory Snow (powder form)
- Water
- Electric mixer
- Mixing bowl
- Cardboard
- Miscellaneous supplies as desired to decorate picture
How to make it:
- Mix the above ingredients on high with an electric mixer.
- Mix well until it is thick enough that when the mixer is lifted from the ingredients it looks like meringue.

Tips:
My kids spread it on cardboard and cut out pictures of people and animals to decorate the picture. My daughter cut out penguins and made an igloo and put it on the bottom. When it dries it looks like snow. Also some of the kids dabbed their finger in it and put it on the cardboard to make it look like snow was falling down.
