Recipe Cards to Print

Difficulty: Average

Average User Rating:

These recipe cards would make nice gifts for your mother, grandmother, aunts, teachers or any person who likes to cook.

What you'll need:

  • Cardstock white paper (about 40-65 pound)
  • Index cards, printer paper, and glue; optional
  • Printer
  • Scissors
  • Printable recipe cards (see below)

How to make it:

  1. You can either purchase cardstock paper at your local office supply store or you can print on printer paper and glue to index cards. I recommend using the cardstock paper.
  2. Decide on whether you will use 3x5" or 4x6" recipe cards. (Hint: Check to see what size recipe holder you have in the house. We can also make some holders.)
  3. Print the following for 3x5" cards:
For the PC(90 dpi) - For the Mac (72 dpi)
  4. Print the following for 4x6" cards:
For the PC(90 dpi) - For the Mac (72 dpi)
  5. Print multiple pages. Let the ink dry before handling.
  6. Cut on the dotted lines.
  7. Either write your recipes on the cards, or give as gifts.
  8. If you wish to give them as gifts, then tie them together with a pretty ribbon or wrap them up.

Tips:

Do check your manual that came with your printer to see what weight of paper your printer can easily print on.
