Add a touch of class to your home this Christmas with an elegant Victorian Christmas Garland. Start with a basic garland and end up with a festive hanging for years to come.
What you'll need:
- Artificial evergreen garland (at any Ben Franklin or other craft supply store)
- Flowers of your choice (should be medium sized to big with wire stems to wrap around garland)
- Ribbon (probably one that matches your flowers)
- Any other kind of decoration (artificial grapes for example)
- Tacks and nails
- 2 clothes pins
How to make it:
- Lay your evergreen garland out on the floor.
- Cut a piece of ribbon long enough to wrap around garland from end to end.
- Wrap ribbon around garland from end to end and hold in place with clothes pin.
- Wrap wire of flowers around garland so that just the blossoms of the flowers show.
- Put any other accessories on the garland that you would want.
- Have someone hold one end of the garland while you hold the other and put in place.
- You are all done!
